**How to Perform an OBC Bypass on a Late Club Car** _(roughly 2004 – 2014)_

On these receptacles, there is a black OBC wire on the back that needs to be cut and rerouted. Refer to the image below to confirm your receptacle matches before beginning.

1.  **TOW Mode:** Switch the golf cart to TOW mode.
2.  **Access Back of Receptacle:** Remove the battery near the golf cart receptacle to allow clear access to the back of the receptacle.
3.  **Cut the OBC Wire:** Cut the black wire on the back of the receptacle and cap the end going to the OBC. Leave about 4 inches of wire to connect to the new bypass wire.
4.  **Install Bypass Wire:** Connect a bypass wire (minimum 12 gauge) from the last negative battery terminal to the black wire you cut in the previous step on the back of the receptacle.
5.  **Reinstall Battery:** Reinstall the battery that was previously removed.
6.  **RUN Mode:** Switch the golf cart back to RUN mode.
